Giving Back in 2025

At SSKB, 2025 is all about giving back to the community. In honour of this commitment, we proudly assembled a team of 8 dedicated team members, along with their families and friends, to take part in the World’s Greatest Shave. Whether through colouring, cutting, or shaving their hair, each participant contributed to raising awareness and funds for families impacted by blood cancer.

Our initial fundraising goal was $15,000, but thanks to the incredible generosity of our supporters, we smashed that target—raising over $28,000 by the end of our events!

Two Days of Bold Transformations

Our World’s Greatest Shave efforts took place across two key dates:

March 12 – Brisbane Event Our first group in Brisbane courageously stepped up to shave, cut, and colour their hair. The participants on the day were:
- Dom – Coloured her hair
- Liam – Coloured his hair
- Jamie – Cut her extremely long hair down to a bob
- Ray – Shaved his head
- Josephine – Shaved her head
Second Event Our second group of participants continued the momentum with another inspiring show of support:
- Nikhil – Coloured his hair
- Tom – Shaved his head
- James – Shaved his head
- Brad – Shaved his head
- Jared – Shaved his head
- Rodney – Shaved his head

Friends and family gathered at the SSKB offices to cheer on our participants during both events, making the experience even more special.
