SSKB uses SMS messaging to send strata administration notices, including levy reminders, to lot owners. This page explains how the program works, who provides the service, and how to opt out if you no longer wish to receive text messages.
SSKB sends SMS messages for routine strata administration purposes, including:
These messages are sent using the mobile number recorded against your lot on the strata roll.
SMS messages are sent on SSKB’s behalf using SMS Global, a third-party SMS delivery provider. SMS Global processes message delivery only — it does not use your number for any other purpose.
If you’d prefer not to receive SMS notices, you can opt out at any time:
Once you opt out, SSKB will stop sending SMS notices to that number. Please allow 5 working days for the change to take effect.
Opting out of SMS stops the text messages only — it does not remove your number from the strata roll while you remain a lot owner. Mobile numbers are retained as part of your roll details, which SSKB maintains as a standard requirement of strata administration.
Opting out of SMS only affects text messages. You’ll continue to receive other communications from SSKB and your scheme as normal (e.g. email, post, or portal notices), unless you separately request otherwise.
