Mark is a recognised specialist in the field of body corporate and community title law, having practiced exclusively in this area since 1997. He assists bodies corporate with all aspects of their legal requirements, be it advising on their obligations under the relevant legislation, assisting them with the assignment of management rights or acting on behalf of bodies corporate in disputes.
Mark also advises developers of community schemes regarding the most appropriate way to structure the proposed development from a titling perspective and with respect to compliance issues under the legislation.
He is an active member of SCA (QLD) , having previously served on the event committee and having acted for the organisation on several matters including drafting the standard administration agreement . Mark is also a member of the Australian College of Community Association Lawyers.
Mark dedicates a substantial amount of time to the education of body corporate managers in Queensland through teaching, presentations, workshops and the publication of articles.
