SSKB was proud to support Tara Brown through fundraising tied to ticket sales for our International Women’s Day events. This initiative raised over $1,000 and reflects our commitment to supporting meaningful causes while bringing our community together to celebrate and empower women.
SSKB proudly supported the World’s Greatest Shave, with staff taking part by colouring, cutting and shaving their hair to raise funds for the Leukaemia Foundation. Together, our teams raised more than $30,000, demonstrating an incredible commitment to supporting Australians impacted by blood cancer through vital research and care.
At SSKB 19 staff from our offices competed in the 2021 Kokoda Challenge on the Gold Coast across the 17km, 48km and 96km events. Our team pushed themselves mentally and physically to make a positive difference together.
SSKB has been a proud supporter of Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus (SBH) Queensland since 2010. The work SBH Queensland does and the support they provide hold a special place in the hearts of Tim Sheehan and his wife Elizabeth. Their son, William, was just 20 weeks old when he was diagnosed with Spina Bifida. This was when the Sheehan family was first introduced to SBH Queensland and the extraordinary work they do.
At SSKB, we are supporting the University of Queensland in its effort to develop a COVID-19 vaccine. We have made a donation towards the ongoing research for the vaccine in order to help change lives in Australia and around the world.
