Building Spotlight – Rivage Royale

Rivage Royale is one of the Gold Coast’s most distinguished addresses with breathtaking grounds and resort-style facilities set on 4.5 acres of riverfront property; there are 178 lots on the scheme.  The building features unique and classically elegant interiors which make it a Gold Coast icon. It is perfectly positioned to take advantage of the natural and social amenities of the cosmopolitan suburb just moments from the heart of Surfers Paradise.

The resort style facilities and classic opulent interiors are surrounded by lush manicured gardens and elaborate water features.  Residents enjoy both indoor and outdoor pools, each with its own heated spa. There is also a ladies and men’s sauna and jacuzzi adjoining the indoor pool. Other facilities include tennis courts, a state of the art gymnasium, a putting green and a billiard area.  The scheme also features a 36 berth marina which offers immediate access to our waterways. A Club Room with a wet bar and a separate library complete the grand lobby level which is also the imposing entrance to the three towers.  As an added bonus there is also 24 hour security

At SSKB we are lucky enough to be the Body Corporate Managers at Rivage Royale and work closely with their committee and management team to constantly assist them in their unique management arrangement.  Rivage Royale has never been operated under Management Rights; the Building Manager and staff are directly employed by the Body Corporate.

The current manager, Chris Pugh, has been the Building Manager since 2008 and, under the direction of the Chairperson, has managed the building in a professional, businesslike and disciplined manner. As Chairperson for many years, Margaret McLean leads an extremely knowledgeable and dedicated committee who has served their community for a lengthy period. This continues to provide stability and continuity ensuring Rivage Royale is amongst the most efficient and smoothly run buildings on the Gold Coast.

Recently an Independent Inspection was carried out on the site for a Sinking Fund Forecast. “During that inspection it was observed that as an ageing building which is located in a coastal location, the condition is of a notable high standard.  It was evident that the standard is a result of prudent scheduled maintenance activities, diligent condition assessment and the execution of planned renovations and refurbishments. We encourage the ownership and management team at Rivage Royale to continue the above activities as it will predictable lead to a property that provides the residents with a building that presents and functions well into the future.”

SSKB work together with the Committee, Building Manager and owners to ensure Rivage Royale continues to be one of the most sought after buildings on the Gold Coast.
