PROPERTY LAW IN QUEENSLAND ABOUT TO CHANGE.

Anyone who owns strata or community title property, or who works within the strata industry is urged to attend the Brisbane Living in Strata Body Corporate Trade Show on Thursday, October 24.

Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Jarrod Bleijie will provide an update on the Queensland Property Law Review, which is set to change the way Queenslanders’ buy, sell and manage property in the future.

The Review process was first announced at the Gold Coast Living in Strata Body Corporate Tradeshow on August 15, 2013.

Mr Bleijie will give details on changes that have already occurred and offer insight into what aspects of legislation will be abolished or amended.

There will be an opportunity for attendees to put their questions to the Attorney-General with a brief Q&A session following the presentation.

Mr Bleijie said he was determined to get  body corporate policy settings right by reducing red tape.
