Electricity Rebate; Are You Eligible?


The Queensland Government provides a rebate on the cost of electricity supplied to the home of eligible concession cardholders.

The electricity rebate is currently $230.46 per year.

Eligible cardholders must be the registered consumer of an electricity retailer at premises that are their principal place of residence, and the only premises for which the rebate is claimed. In addition they must live alone or share the home with:

Applicants must also declare that no other people except casual visitors share the residence with them.

application form for seniors rebate

I would like to know more re the rebate for Qld residents for power. I live in apartment & have a seniors card, only my wife lives with me. I am owner off business in Adelaide which I am trying to sell , I am officially retired & receive weekly payments from superannuation. My seniors card issued 15 Sept last year .
